Skeptic

Skeptic

A Poem by red-juliet

He’s a disparager, a skeptic and a cynic

He’s the epitome of substantiation and logic

He’s a misanthropist, a detractor and a doubter

A realist, a pragmatist, a flouter

Justify your actions, or suffer the result

His narrow-minded equilibrium is something to insult

And he’s got his doting cohorts, following suit in his cult

How can I possibly love this upsetting excuse of a man?

But the poignant truth is I do and I can
