        And thus another one more hour
          Abounds me such another ill,
          It matters not of day or night -
          The Sickroom’s horridness of still.

          The Linn of overflowing thoughts
          Immures me deep in utter dark,
          Every single Moment’s stang -
          Leaves me stricken, void and stark.

          This unrelenting, unkenned knowing!
          I cannot bear this hopeless wait;
          Hel hast cast a pize bestowing-
          Imminent’s unkind view of fate.

          A  fate within the angst of hours
          O Thanatos!  Be swift and true;
          Let thy voice in silent merriment -
          Silence the rue.

Really enjoyed this. Reminded me of reading Keats as a teen "I have been half in love with death"

The rhythm and rhymes come off naturally, and create a melancholy tone of reflection, and oddly enough, even dark celebration

Love that you introduced Thanatos into the mix - the death drive. Adds more philosophical heft to rumination.

Thanks for posting.

The foreboding atmosphere poetically described with passion and intent really leaps when reading. The death of most or all of the cells in an organ or tissue due to disease, injury, or failure of the blood supply has been metaphorically exposed within your wordplay. Remarkable write - :-)
