Third World

Third World

A Poem by rebellefleur

I have once walked with you...

Barefooted; on my tiny, restless feet there amongst the beggars, the homeless, the hopeless, the faithless, the criminals, the fucked-up beautiful faces and the many different varieties of the w****s and prostitutes of the world.  My first kiss was from a thief who stole my heart and left me alone walking heartless and bare-naked, exposing myself to everyday filth, diseases, corruption and general life contamination and fuckery. All of this unbeknownst to me, and I wouldn't have made it if it's not for you and your love... And so what if it's rough? I figured anyways that such body as mine, is made for raw and savage way of loving and I wouldn't have wanted it in any other way... And there in your nasty dangerous streets I've learned to suck all up my fears and tears and just continue walking even though I don't really know where to go or what to do exactly (or whether i could make it or not, really...)
And though I'm not with you anymore I would never forget the fact that I have once walked with you...
Yes, I have once walked and loved with you---

on my tired, dirty little feet...
