Reflection of a killerA Chapter by Rebel_angel
Scarlet stood staring at her reflection. Her midnight black hair flowing past her shoulders. She stared at the curves in her body. The perfect body stood staring back at her. She looked just like her mother used to look. Beautiful. Her penetrating green eyes, glistening. The eyes of a killer. Scarlet smiled at her reflection. The face that once upon a time was the face of an innocent child, wide eyed and a dazzling sweet smile. The face that as she grew, became the face of a naïve girl who saw the world as loving and beautiful. A girl who was beautiful and had a smile that could melt any man’s heart. A face that finally became the face of a ruthless killer. A face that held eyes filled with despair and hatred. Scarlet spun around to see her reflection, examining how her red sleeveless blouse cut low to sit just on her breasts. She examined how her tight jeans hugged her hips. Her eyes glistened as she remembered how her body is an exact replica of her mothers. She lightly touched the black and scarlet eye pendant, the last thing her father gave her. The thing that brought her to this new life, in a way the thing that made her a killer. Thinking about her parents Scarlet’s blood rose with anger. She flashed a terrifying smile to the mirror, and touched her neck. Another humans blood would spill tonight (well not exactly spill) and she would enjoy every minute of it. © 2009 Rebel_angelAuthor's Note
