The Waves.

The Waves.

A Poem by Sriparna

Something the heart shows ,
Something the eyes hide ,
Sometimes the ocean is dark blue ,
But the waves are so high,
Those touch the shore ,
Leave so fast and free ,
Some sees how its letting go ,
Some says beauty of the sea.

Gee
This, like some I post , has a childlike innocence to it when read aloud with the odd line seemingly there for no reason, if that makes sense.
I enjoyed my visit. Good morning

They crash into my sands every day, and I wish they would never go away. Oh how beautiful they are, why do they go so far?

Nice description of the sea. The sea is free and never controlled. Some people are the same. Thank you Sriparna for for sharing the excellent poetry.

The Poem is short but good . But I think you can express more thoughts which could have made the poem look beautiful

Sure,I'll try with that . thank you for the review anyway.
Seems a bit disconnected. You open with, " Something the heart shows." You expand in it with "Something the eyes hide"

So there I am, with a riddle, "What is it that the heart shows but the eyes hide?" And I can answer that no more than I can explain why a raven is like a writing desk, so I'm waiting for more clues. But instead you talk about the color of the ocean.

Words you have, but because I lack context to make them meaningful...

Hey ,I got you.The ocean and the waves are mentioned to mean something more than a literal meaning. .. read more
I am wondering about the person standing at the ocean's edge. I wonder what she thinks.
