Nomad

Nomad

A Poem by Sriparna

The morning breeze wakes her up every morning, played with her messy hair, touches her tired eye lashes , kisses her leaving all its fragrance, comfy her in hot or in cold , as if it loved her from the top to bottom, since years till forever. Still it couldn't be the one with whom in her mind she wakes up every morning . Even the breeze envied him.The only similarity between them was both didn't have a particular destination ,both were nomads.

An elegant scenario written in 'Prose poem' form. The soft metaphor presented here has been wisely constructed. Nomadic wind . . . Nomadic person- the comparison is thoughtful. Well done!

To be as nomadic as the wind ... is certainly no nomad living in the Sahara ... Europe ... or elsewhere. It lives in the mind. Nice catch of phrase.
