I'm always the first to take a stand

Yet, I'm always the last to take the blame

This time you know it was you, don't lie

But it was everything I did to deserve it

From the start, you were always the hero

The one to pick me up when I'd fall

People couldn't understand why one girl

Could tear you apart like I could

What they didn't understand, you see

Or take the time to even look at

Was that I was fucked up before you came

And I'm still just as fucked up after

You can't fix the way my mind works

But you have only made it worse

My stability is on a delicate balance

And you knocked it right off its stand

Before I go, I must tell you this

And although you won't be listening

I want you to know you're still on my mind

And nothing will ever take that away..
