Acidic love

Acidic love

A Poem by rebeccarellis

My hate's too soft and sticky
To last in the iron of certainty;
Willed in by bodies foreign
To our sweet love
Which was unrepentant
In its time of decadant allegiance.
And now I fly
Too free from comfort's bed.

I made my task another's
As my core's nest
Sank there
Where private pains were
Cracked apart and drunk
By my adoring lips.
Swimming to the surface,
Seeking out the air of
Ongoing life
I thrash in light's dashed rhombi
And my own airless shock
To the new song of atomhood,
So wide and cold as to
Drain my insides.

From core to crust
My hate is hopeful, a gleam that
Blinds the gut,
For I've reached out
And shred muscle to bone
In the art of pleasing you -
Entranced by every second.
