Lovin' falsely.

Lovin' falsely.

A Poem by rebeccarellis

Don't throw those words:
I know we humans only cover
Jellyin' trembles an' big black
Holes 'cause floatin' free's a
Dirty mongrel task.
Better off bedded, declared an'
Clutched into these circles where
We live in cobbled fogs an'
Cracked up pavestones.

Gotta pelt those kisses
Some place, outta the oven of
Red need to where the flames'll catch.
That beauty of pins that rips you up
Is only prickin' the eyes an'
Catchin' the throat, body on body.
A mirror fans your lust,
Draws the scene of dreams an'
In you go, as though this lake
Weren't glass! No sirens there
But you alone, another mournful
Spirit racked with fables.

Find the few amid the
Swarmin' ants down there, for
Luck lies in man as surely as
A sword is drawn in the
Face of death:
Give me blood, he says,
Give me love!
