A Walk Through NatureA Poem by Rebecca Pallthis was a poem to fit an interactions theme for a school contestI walk outside I can see the vibrant colors Red leaves, green grass, blue sky The natural beauty stuns me I listen to my surroundings I can hear the subtle sounds of life The chirping of newborn birds, the soft howling of the wind The natural beauty stuns me I bite into a bright green apple I can taste the complexness of the fruit The tartness of the very first bite, the sweetness of the very last one The natural beauty stuns me I touch a big old tree I can feel the elaborate textures The roughness of the bark, the smoothness of the leaves The natural beauty stuns me I smell a vast array of flowers I can smell the sweetness of the different plants The sweet, polleny scent The natural beauty stuns me I finish my walk With all of the beautiful memories The senses can add so much to everyday activity The natural beauty stuns me © 2016 Rebecca PallReviews
