Nothing lasts

Glass will break

Sometimes more 

Than one can take

I remember your kisses

Sweet as toffee

I honestly thought

Your love would last an eternity

Now here I am

Wondering what I did wrong

You're with her now

I hope that lasts long

I want the warm hugs

The kisses that last forever

I lost everything 

Still wondering where I made my error

I loved you more than words

I took more pain than I could handle

I need a new love

But ours was a perfect example

You have her

I am alone

You don't love me

As you have clearly shown

The glass can't be put back perfectly

That's a lesson I have to learn

Even though the absence of you

Leaves an eternal burn

This is a very emotional write, the wording is so perfect. I especially love these two lines in the last stanza

the pain and torture youth's heart feels when wronged. How much more would we achieve in life if it weren't for the time we spent regretting what has passed. We are all as guilty of it and will continue to do so.
One thing, I'm not sure about the line I hope that will last. It might be meant as sarcasm, but might come across as a little petulant.

It wasn't sarcastic- I put it in the stanza when I was talking about how it is good that I ache is happy, while I may still be upset about it.
