Beautiful Music

Beautiful Music

A Poem by Rebecca

Press the keys across the board,
Together we made beautiful music.
But now I've been left, a soloist once more,
The rush in my mind has slowed,
The idea's weakened.
Yet still in my head I hear you play
Beautiful music, our duet.

The title drew me to this one-- I love music.
Yeees, you interweave the music imagery or sound imagery and the story of a relationship superbly here. A created a very enjoyable composition here.

This is sad, the first two lines made me think this would be a poem of love, but as it turns out its a poem of lost love, great job on this.

This poem reminds me of a piece of writing I'm working on, so I can definitely relate to it. It's a beautiful thing when 2 artists come together. Though the length is short, I feel like you've said everything that's needed to say. Great job!
