Even Now

Even Now

A Poem by Rebecca

I see you, even now.

For in my darkest hour

You are bright,

And brilliant.

For in my lowest light

I can remain to see you,

Always.

For in the depths of my heart

I know you give a damn.

I feel you, even now.

For in my lonely moments

I know you think of me

Sincerely and truely.

For in my soul's numbness

You've touched me.

For in this quiet room,

You are what's on my mind.

I want you, even now.

For even though we can't,

I know we will.

For even though it's wrong,

We don't care.

For even though the world's in our way,

I see the blade you hold.

I see you, even now.

For in my darkest hour

You were there.
