Death

Death

A Poem by Rebecca
"

In honor of Every 15 Minutes.

"

An endless riverbed, life does seem.

Most consider it a 'never ending stream'.

Though this death be untimely, I want you to know,

That I am always there, I will never go.

I love you to the ends of my being,

Even though my friends and my family I'll no longer be seeing.

Keep our memories in your minds, our laughs in your hearts,

And then in your life, I'll always be a part.

Can words describe how I love you all? No.

You are my heroes, never my foes.

You've shown me love and, though I was forced to show you loss,

A lesson was learned, even at this great cost.

My dreams were big, as was my mind,

So explore for me, make sure you find

True happiness in life, do it for me.

Live the life... I didn't get to see.

Love is forever.

Love never severs.

Love is for always,

Even in death.

Rebecca, this was extraordinary!
I've written a few poems with this subject matter, but this was very well thought out and well written.

Great idea, and even better poem!
