Protection

Protection

A Poem by Rebecca

Wither thy soul, and create a new form.

Come to end has my hatred and scorn.

Sick as the devil has this heart come to be.

Losing thy faith; gaining some fatality.

And I grow too tired to even say

Thy minds hast lost thy horrid way,

The words upon thy opened lips

Should nothing, but start to zip.

Crawl away young, dear child.

These be not words you should hear.

If did, you may turn wild,

Lose your mind in the fear.

Come behind me, I’ll watch you all

With the sanity I have left.

I promise to not let myself fall

And protect you and the rest.

As for you, thy sins are cruel,

Now get out of their sight.

I do not have the mind to fool

Such a worthless piece of ‘might’.
