The Rain Does Fall

The Rain Does Fall

A Poem by Rebecca

Pitter Patter Pitter Patter,

Drip Drop the rain does fall.

Slip and Slide, Slip and Slide,

Against the window's wall.

Tick Tock Tick Tock,

The time feels so fast.

Ticking Tocking Ticking Tocking,

How long will this last?

"Chirp Chirp Chirp Chirp,"

The bird says in his nest.

Flip Flap Flip Flap,

It flies to join the rest.

Sigh Yawn Drone Sigh,

Has the rain yet to stop?

Pitter Patter Pitter Patter,

No, it still does Drop.

I like this poem, especially the message.. Somedays one may dream, and pray and hope, but at the end day some things just never chamge; and those are the things are the safest to bet on :)
