ChildrenA Poem by RebeccaI'm not an adult, yet not a child, Raised to be mature and do the right thing, I don't take chances, I don't take danger, But maybe it's time I did.
Now here we sit alone, in each other's arms, Neither expecting much after, But maybe for now, just for now, That's all we need.
An adult would stop this, Say it's not right. An adult would think through And consider the consequences.
A child would continue, Live for the moment. Screw the consequence and just Enjoy themself.
May be immature, may be irresponcible, But hell I need the rush. So take my hand, and kiss my lips, And for once lets act like children. © 2009 RebeccaReviews
