Friend

Dear Friend, you came out of the blue,

It's been but two months and already

I trust you with my life.

I've told you my secrets, and you've told me yours,

I knew our bond was deeper then skin.

 

Our backgrounds aren't similar,

We're hardly the same,

Yet our understandings are so crystal,

You have a heart of gold,

One.. that I swear not to drop.

 

I've seen death and loss,

And you understand my pain.

You accept my secrets, and all the same

You love me.

Thank you.

 

You are my savior,

A true friend at that.

I proved who I was and our bond tightened.

I promise you this Friend:

I won't f**k this up.
