Economy

Economy

A Poem by Rebecca

Life's going downhill,

This just isn't fair,

What'd I do to deserve this?

How much must I bear?

Life is rotting slowly,

Like an old piece of fruit.

Personally, I blame economy,

For giving my life the boot.

First jobless, then homeless,

Then slowly we'll die off.

Pennyless, after sadness,

We tripped over the rocks.

Thank you, just thank you.

This world kills it's own people.

Using tax to pay for lunch,

The to only push the penny payers under the bus.

Thank you, thank you,

I'll say it every day.

I'll say it until you see,

The lives you threw away.
