A Poem by Rebecca

Stepping outside to a field full of rain.
I am here, reborn, a fresh face.
With that, I am forgetting your touch.

Call it passionless care,
But I can't do this anymore.
I can't hate myself for you.

There's a certain give-and-take
Behind friendship and love,
I hope you see what I've found, someday.

I will always love the person I saw
But I can't do this anymore,
Please, forget me strongly.

I like this part "Stepping outside to a field full of rain" it signifies you are walking out of a relationship and are ready for the pain.

Stepping away from a bad situation is never easy, but always the best solution in my opinion. When a person can't respect the other or the chains of communication have fractured, or they simply show the other that they just don't get it... then it's time to return to a new direction in the great journey of life, so that truer happiness can be found down the line.

A powerful and very well put piece of ink.

Nice! Your words echo feelings I've felt and dealt with before. =) It's so true. You can't hate yourself over a past love. Good Poem!
