Fly With Me

Fly With Me

A Poem by Rebecca

Sparks begin to fly as marble stone crushes my soul,
Please pick up the pieces with care.
For even when broken, my shattered spirit feels.
Forgive me for past lack of compassion,
In my lonely thoughts I was dragged to a dark corner of the world.
I was left under my own thunderous fire,
Screaming for salvation that never paid visit.
Broken expectation left me flaw-ful.
Gravity is my only excuse of presence.
I again talk to myself..
The only survivor remaining now.
My only chance is now; break through the clouds with me and forget the past.
Just once, let me forget who I will become.
I'm cold and tired. Sleep should come now.
I feel faceless, nameless. I don't belong anymore.
But please, come break gravity with me, before we forget
Who I am, and who I was. Hurry.
It won't be long..
