InfiniteA Poem by Rebecca
Within the moonlight I find the deepest of protection.
My coverage from this raspy voiced world that in my honor I know too well. The candlelight burns at my bedside, And you're not here to stop me from tipping the flame. I'd stop this beat of heart to hear you say my name. I dream of your return to me; a fire that never ceased. Love is blind; the world stops for no man, And you don't stop for me. Bring back to me my kindled spirit and Allow me to again ignite the elements. Let my tears fall onto cloth, not concrete, Say to me that my soul may rest now. Make me nescient once more, Unaware of cruel truths. I beg the pain away; your return means a moment Without loneliness, or tears. A crumbled society beacons me no more, and, I find myself in lust for reassurance. Only your words can calm the turbulent flow. My dear I call for once more, once more. My only, speak to me again.
