My Secret

To be very honest, I only came up with a name now. I didn't have a name for this poem but after reading it again I guess waiting for my happiness and faking my smile is my secret...

Please don't let my smile fool you
I'll say I'm okay but wishing you saw me through
Surrounded with feelings that I have to hide
all I have is a razor by my side
You see that's my friend, never lets me down
I keep it away when my other friends are around
Then I'm alone again and I bring it out
My pain is silent and you can't hear me shout
Nothing gets better so I hang onto the rope
But there's something inside of me that I like to call hope.
So I sit there and wait for my happiness to come
Only thing about happiness is that it only happens to some...
