Dreaming Again

Dreaming Again

A Poem by Matthew
"

Hope I get out.

"
Finding myself in that land again
Grass is never green, clouds never happy, and sun can’t be seen
How I know, where I go, don’t think I really know

Hopefully I’m just dreaming again
Can’t stand this lack of meaning within
Hopefully I’ll get out in time, but I don’t know
I think I’m dreaming again

Worlds apart, and I guess it’s time to start
Running forward, and I don’t want to imagine how
But I feel like I’m no longer alone in this world of now

Hopefully I’m just dreaming again
Can’t stand this lonely feeling within
Maybe I’ll get out in time, but I don’t know
Voices say I’m dreaming again

Ran away, but never go along
Stole her away, but it’s not my concern, or so they say
In the end they’ll pay, but for now I’ll just lay

Hopefully I’m just dreaming again
Can’t stand this hopefully feeling within
Pray I’ll get out in time, but I don’t know
Her voice says I’m dreaming again
