Somewhere Again

Somewhere Again

A Poem by Matthew
"

When you drift along, sometimes you forget where you are.

"
Living past in that somewhere again
Never growing old, but still can’t maintain
Distant scream, and a livid dream
Never growing old, and still as mean

Living in the past, I’m in that somewhere again
Can’t know when, never knew why, just somewhere
I’m somewhere again, too tired to care how

Tired and I can’t imagine why
Still I’m here, but where here is I’ll never remember
Memories draw me to electricity, regret comes around and I don’t know
Past will never change, and now I’m somewhere again

Living in the now, I’m just somewhere again
Don’t care how, never knew where, just somewhere
I’m somewhere again, too annoyed to care now

Don’t dream, don’t scream, it’s just me, and I’m here
Don’t believe, please never leave, it’s just me, and I’m here

Living and I can’t imagine how
Remembering, wish I could forget this now
Somewhere I wish I wasn’t
Blue, cold and lonely, still I’m here

I’m just somewhere again
