Motions carried through a tale of dread
Evil conspired and turned to lead

This seems like a mash up of songs, Zombie by the Cranberries, Disposable Heroes by Metallica. I know you said you were interested in writing poetry that could be songs, which I have done as well, but sometimes, forcing stanzas into a poem that could double as choruses detract from the rest of the work. I think this has potential and I hope you don't take this review too negatively. Just being as honest as I would wish anyone to be to be. Keep up the good work though.
