The End

The End

A Poem by Matthew
"

Will the End ever come?

"
Crazy the crimes echo on
Forward from dawn until the end of time
Crazy the rims of life roll down the drain

Cry while the wife's drone on and on
While the children pretend to be wrong
Echos of drawn stream from the moon to the sun

Can we still be saved?  Or is it just another hopeless dream
Can we still be amazed?  Or are we just another useless race
Will we ever find true freedom?  Or are we just born to be enslaved

Lies still cry from the sky in the middle of July
The summer heat baptized with fear
Never again will he be wrong, just another man killed by time

The end will never come
Broken down from the coming years
Will the sun ever find the dawn?  No, it’s just going to roll on and on

Watch as the people cringe with fear
Watch as the millions mass, with smiles, ear to ear
Laugh as the end forgets to show its face

All in all, it’s just another disgrace
