Our Story

Our Story

A Poem by Beaner166

I feel like were back in the day.
When chivalry wasn't dead.
I feel like I'm Romeo and you are my Juliet.
I close my eyes and drift away.
Away to a place were we can be.
A place we can share.
Just came with me.
Me as your Romeo with my Juliet.
Our perfect world with that perfect place.
That place were we first met.
With that fatal first glance.
You stole my breath away.
The magic we felt.
The connection we shared.
I couldn't believe we were both here.
It felt like a dream.
This couldn't be real.
Could this be fate?
It can't be a coincident.
It feels like it's meant to be.
Me and you.
You and me.
Now back to the present were the story is different.
Were despite our feeling we cannot be.
For you have another who found you before me.
Now I sit here alone in the dark.
Writing this store of this sad tragedy.
I cannot describe the pain held inside.
Urning   for you.
My heart falls apart.
Broken to pieces they drift away.
I try and I try but still no relief.

I like the idea, but it could use some improvement. You have a lot of spelling mistakes such as: "Urning" should be "yearning"..."coincident" should be "coincidence"...and "were" in line 1 should be "we're"...'were" in lines 5, 10, and 24 should be "where". Other than those, it was a great read.

Painful emotions, nicely done. The transitions really work :)
