Loves Prayer

Loves Prayer

A Poem by Beaner166

Now I lay my head to sleep.

My heart i give to you to keep.

Should i die before i wake.

I wish for you my soul to take.

Forgive me of my transgressions.

I regret my decisions.

Lead me not into temptation.

Rather deliver my soul from evil.

For you are my strength, will, and reason.

This I swear forever, in my heart forever.

Good bye and amen.

I like that it is so straightforward. It reminds me of some of my writing. Not a lot of fancy words and very easy to understand. You rhythm was a little off, but everything alse was really good. And please don't be mad at me for the other reviews I gave on your other poems, you are the one that asked for them...and I was only being honest, just as you should be when reviewing my work.

.........
You presented your thoughts in a most simple manner.
Very direct without any embelishment.
I had a very good read!

A most ponting of pieces, you relax the need for clarity and ensure the story, well done, good read.
