Mornië Utúlië (The Coming, And The Fall Of Darkness, Part I)A Poem by Mirko GalušićIt's a piece inspired by the Elven words from J. R. R. Tolkien's universe: "Mornië Utúlië"("Darkness has come"), and "Mornië Alantië" ("Darkness has fallen"). If you can, please do read the Part II...When darkness comes, I'll be all alone, With you in my mind, In the soft, forest's embrace... There, I'll be lying under an old oak tree, On the forest floor of sleeping grass, In the silence of night, Broken only by the song of the faeries... With my sleepy eyes fixed up, On an evening star, Which reminds me of you... Shining bright in the night, Filling my eyes with its cold, flashing light, She stands so beautiful, Bathed in the rosy light of a nebula Covering the dark sky with it's subtle, Gloomy clouds of stardust... Not even the moon, the sun of night, Can compete with it's stellar beauty, Or should i say, Your's... There, I will dream, Put to sleep by the faerie's song, Bathed in the light of an evening star, Longing for the dawn... © 2013 Mirko GalušićAuthor's Note
