This is a dark one from my thrash band. It has a background meaning.

The One Who Lives Inside

Crawling around,
Never in sight,
Descends trough your body,
But you cannot fight!

Flows through your veins,
Corrupting your blood,
Inside your head,
Making a flood,

Under your skin!
Devours your mind!
Ruler of lies!
Your fates are entwined!

Can't get it out!
Out of your mind!
Cause it is the one,
The one who lives inside

Changing your shape,
Loosing your face
In his eternal
Cold loving embrace!

I listen to meshugga and mastodon quite a lot, but to be fair these words lend themselves well to a stand alone poem, not just lyrics.

I listen to meshuggah myself, their onr of my favourite bands. I wrote some lyrics to the song DEMIURGE by meshuggah. Their to be sung in the same manner as Jens sings demiurge.
