I Miss Her!

Everyday, when I awake,

I wish again to see your face;

And, if my eyes can’t do that much,

I only wish to feel your touch;

And, if my eyes decide not to,

Please whisper to me, “I love you”;

And if my ears can’t handle this,

I only want to taste your kiss;

And if your kiss, I can not taste,

Please wrap your arms around my waist;

And if your hug seems too soft,

I’ll know that my all in all is lost.

 

And if my all in all is gone,

I never want to see the sun;

Unless this you & me is right,

I never want to see the night;

And if our hearts are not the same,

I’ll live my life with lasting pain;

The pain of a heart that once was whole,

But, now has lost its heart & soul;

A pain so great, I’ll never love,

For love was lost when you gave up;

A love so deep, I longed to see;

So, please, my love, come back to me.
