"Cradle"

"Cradle"

A Poem by masqued_muse
"

Piece I wrote few years ago about how everything is held fast, in Hands of the Only One qualified to hold it....

"
Time and its essence was birthed by your wisdom.
the stars,they are numbered,
as they play at Your Feet.
Your Holy Presence gives light to the sun,
night becomes day,only to repeat.
You bathe my life, in the sweet glow of Mercy;
no human hands could incite such a touch.
So, I will close my eyes,and like the stars that rest above me;
Sleep in the rapture of this cradle I call Love…

"night becomes day,only to repeat."
I definitely agree with the face value of that line. It's all ongoing; nothing is static.
"So, I will close my eyes,and like the stars that rest above me;/Sleep in the rapture of this cradle I call Love…"
I have often thought of writing something similar to this, but I feel your take on it would be much more accepted by the populous. I have to say that this piece is quite lyrical. Great job.
