DepressionA Poem by Aubrey HarrellI feel this way a lot, but no one else ever realizes it behind my mask. The dark pit of sadness Can make you go through madness. A hole so deep It will keep you forever. A couple of times a week I weep without tears. Have you ever felt this? A kiss from death? I don’t speak a word. I go completely unheard, As I call for help. Without a single yelp. I just want to die Somewhere inside. To get away from the world And to be curled into a ball. I hate feeling this way, Most every day, For a couple of hours With just a scour. This is real for me I call out in plea For the help I need most As I sit here like a post. Help me. © 2017 Aubrey HarrellFeatured Review
