Jacob

I wrote this poem after I finished the twilight series. it was the first poem i ever wrote.

The beast is powerful and mighty fast, strong, hard like a rock.

Plays with the butterfly his one true love.

 

When she leaves him for his enemy his brothers try to change his mind.

They say forget her, leave her, find someone else but all he can think about is the butterfly.

 

She comes to see the beast every few days but then the enemy takes her away.

He knows deep in his mind that nothing can replace the butterfly.

i know this poem may sound cheesy and twilight obbsesive but please look past that and tell me what you think.

i have seen some of the movies so i do get this very cute i wanna see more of the newer ones but just makes me think of Beauty and the beast. nice way of painting love thank you for sharing

I'm not a fan of Twilight, but I did look past it, and I did enjoy this poem.
My favorite aspect of this, is that the first stanza almost makes him sound weak because of love, but look at the devotion and commitment in stanzas 2 and 3. That sounds like strength to me.
