Charlie B, Mary & Death by Introspection

Charlie B, Mary & Death by Introspection

A Poem by Tourist the Sleepwalker
"

On a similiar theme from around the same time. I can provide a more detailed description/explanation if so desired. Written during particularly bad period of sleeplessness.

"

“Charlie Bukowksi

And a fast emptying pack of cigarettes

Drank his way to fame and fortune

Not how it usually goes

‘The Smiths’ by The Smiths

Keeps me from entering my dreams

I’ve seen that very dark place

Are they laughing as they cry or just dying?

Mary Mary

The fantasy doesn’t work straight

This was meant to be simple

‘Cause I thought that you had died

Save me from her

Take away my drugs and alcohol

Tear my soul away from her lips

Before we ever meet”
