Black as Night

Black as Night

A Poem by Haley-Daniel Belair
"

Salvaged from memory after the loss....and this too shall pass!

"

Black as night on shadowed wings,

On billowed silk the blackness falls.

Shadows come like fallow blades,

Terror strikes destruction reigns.

Life befalls.

Vastness of the void.

Creation begins.

All is new.

Wow... I really like this... You have great imagery in it.... "On billowed silk the blackness falls" I love this line. When i was little and still today I would always imagine that when blackness came it came down in a silky ribbon.... This is a really good poem... Great Job!
