Lament of MorriganA Poem by Haley-Daniel Belairbased on Celtic Mythology of Warrior Goddess Morrigan
A screech is heard I know you've come in the form of a raven,
Black as night on silent wing to a stone you come to lite,
Double edged like the sword you are into my soul you see,
Here I am my breast is bare for your blade to claim my life,
Transforming life to death only to be born again,
Peace mounts to the heavens,
The divine waters descend to earth,
And enriches our lives.
We are of the Earth now And everyone is strong...
