The Inbetween

The Inbetween

A Poem by R.Guy Behringer
"

A thought on Prayer.

"

In between the Inbetween
I found a place that can't be seen
It's a place where no one's sad
A place where only Love is had

I often go to leave behind
the awful thoughts that cross my mind
the wicked people in the news
their senseless violence and twisted views

I found this place, the Inbetween
a forgotten place that's rarely seen
where no one's sick and there's no pain
Where Black and White mix like rain

There are no views, just peace of mind
You'll bend your knees if you wanna find
a place to go where love is blind
That place, the Inbetween

Because your feet can't take you there
the only way's through Daily Prayer

In his word I know his love
in this world and up above

And in the spaces in between
where hate and envy can't be seen
He calms my heart and soothes my mind
bathed in love I pass my time

In that place, the Inbetween
