A rhyme about strange children and how they play

Captain Me and Charli McGee

sailed our claw foot tub

on a green tile sea

We hunted Popcorn Pirates

by the light of the moon

while First mate Basil played us

a squeeze box tune

We danced a sailor’s Jig

and then a sailor's Reel

Walked a Formica plank

Ate a hard tack meal

We stole all their popcorn

and sent them to the deep

Mom flits through the door

And said it was time for sleep

So into our crypts

the three of us went

Us little vampires

Another night spent

In our dreams

tomorrow night’s planning

We’ll blast off for Mars

in a rocket we’ll be manning

Until then, we sleep by daylight

We aren’t like all the others

We are children of the night

very cool. I read a book to my son called "Pirateria" are you familiar with it? It is a children's book but the lines and rhymes are very charming, and clever.
For example:
"Are you a Privateer?
A Mutineer?
Or a happy-go-lucky Buccaneer?
Do you need top quality pirate gear?
Well never fear,
