I Miss The Man I Wanna Be

I Miss The Man I Wanna Be

A Poem by R.Guy Behringer
"

A heartfelt moment in my life at the passing of my father.

"
I miss the Man I wanna be
The one who taught me everything
To catch and throw, to cast and row
To shift and clutch, to love God so much

I miss my Dad every day
I never thought he'd go away

I miss the man I'm trying to be
To give and love unselfishly

These and more the best I can

To be like my Father
To be a better Man

Excellent poetry. Our father guides us to the right course in life if he's a good one. In your case, he clearly was.

You're very good.
