anxious midnight

anxious midnight

A Poem by Sean L Corbin

strangled breath in my diaphragm, lockjaw,

stiff neck throbbing, temples stretched

across forehead, tense across torso,

in shoulders, in knees, grinding

teeth, strangled breath,

fading into supernova

visions, fading into

anxious midnight,

breathless,

no breath,

drowning,

tension,

tension,

dying,

faded

away

Awesome. It looks like half of a tornado to begin with. supernova is a great description.
