Pitch black and Scared shitless

Pitch black and Scared shitless

A Poem by Rayzor

Five minutes ago the lights went out.
Something that I now don't want to be without.
I sit in my room, in the dark, all alone.
My body and nerves stiff as stone.
I hear footsteps. Coming from where?
I listen closely. Hoping it's nothing to fear.
Voices from the attic. Something satanic.
I nearly go frantic. Come on, don't panic.
I get out of bed and run out of the room.
Come on get out, or it will be my doom.
I shake and whimper. Nowhere to run.
I see the ripper. Killer of one by one.
He runs towards me, with a hellish grin.
I'm too weak, too young. I cannot win.
Closer and closer. My eyes open wide.
What happened next...well, I died.

"with a hell of a grin." is a positive thing, but if it was a hellish grin or a freakish grin. Otherwise, I know the feeling of being as scared as that.

Good point ;)
Haha! That was really nice. I laughed at the end.
