Bad girl - Nice girl wars

Bad girl - Nice girl wars

A Poem by Glee

The Bad girl

Dressed in elegant black

She’s gorgeous

She’s intelligent

She’s irresistible

She’s stunning

She’s aggressive

She’s evasive

She’s decisive

She can be offensive

She’s a bad girl

She uses her charms to her advantage

She likes to hit on married men

She can have any man she wants

She likes to play with men’s feelings

They spoil her with little gifts and kisses

She likes to command attention

She can have any man she wants

She’s a bad girl

The nice girl

Dressed in elegant white

She’s just as pretty

Just as beautiful

Equally glamorous

But she’s more reserved and to herself

She’s more decent and proper

She does everything right and expects the best

She dreams of the perfect life

The perfect man

The perfect marriage

The perfect family

She’s honest and proper

She’s sincere and affectionate

She’s a nice girl

She had her first kiss at prom night

She had her first crash at sixteen

She could never let herself fall prey to any man

She must keep herself pure for that special man

She will save her innocence for her wedding night

She dreams of the perfect life

The perfect man

The perfect marriage

The perfect family

She’s a nice girl

Always so proper

And decent

So sweet

And righteous

But then you fell prey to the charms of the bad girl

She sunk her talons deep underneath your skin

And it was too powerful to reject

You could hardly resist her charms

Why do the bad girls always finish first?

Isn’t it obvious!

They don’t waste any time

Here and now is all that matters

They live for the present and get lost in their lust

Crushing the heart of your innocent nice girl girlfriend

But weren’t they the same!

Eve is Eve, no matter what they say

The nice girl

So now she’ll kick you out of her life

She’ll kick you out of her home

She’ll brush you off like a used piece of trash

Take your children and your love away

And you’ll inevitably run along

Back into the arms of the bad girl

Where you’ll always end up at the end of the day

But weren’t they the same

Eve is Eve

No matter what they say

The niceness is just a cover

The bad girl

She has a more realistic attitude to relationships

She knows men cheat

She knows men lie

She knows men’s weakness

But she’s still fond of them anyway

She has a more mature attitude to relationships

She knows nobody is perfect

But she’s incapable of loving men

She uses them for their attention

Their wealth

Their affection

She’s incapable of true love

But she’ll always be there to comfort you when you’ve been stabbed in the heart

When you’re wrenched with guilt

She always gives you a reason to feel a little less guilty

For a little while at least

Before she runs off to do the same favor for another man

Don’t be surprised because nobody’s perfect

But can you tell the difference

Eve is Eve
