Nice guy syndrome

Nice guy syndrome

A Poem by Glee

He does everything he can to make you happy

He does everything he can to make you smile

He does everything he can to make you comfortable

He doesn’t take any chances

He doesn’t take any risks

And he most certainly doesn’t cheat

He thinks it raises his points with you

He cooks

He cleans

He baby-sits

He washes

He irons

He gardens

He works

He’s thoughtful

He’s loving

He’s caring

He’s faithful

He does everything he's told

Is he sick

Is he normal

Is he real

Yes

Is he sensitive?

May be

What difference does it make?

We all are

Is he a momy’s boy?

Who knows!

What difference does it make?

We all love our moms

Is he weak?

Donno

May be a little clingy

May be a little needy

May be a little whiny

May be a little shy

But what difference does it make

We all are some times

He’s smart

He’s clean

He’s thoughtful

He’s faithful

He’s considerate

He listens

He’s a decent guy

He’s a nice guy

Why is he alone

What?

Nobody wants a nice guy

Everybody wants a bad boy

He’s your shoulder to cry on when you’re in a bad relationship

He’s your strength to help you when you’re tired

He’s your friend to rely on when everyone has turned against you

Is he gay?

May be

What difference does it make?

Most of us have a little of that

But no

When he wants to take that relationship to another level

You bluntly turn him down

And if not you dump him for the next bad boy that comes around

The bad boy

He’s adventurous

He’s spontaneous

He’s unpredictable

He’s exciting

He’s confident

Everybody wants him

He thinks you’re lucky to have him

He thinks you’re happy to love him

You can change him

You can fight for him

You can have him

The guy sited right next to you

What!

He’s too easy

You don’t look at him that way

He might as well be an elder brother to look up to

A friend in times of need

Why?

He’s a nice guy

As the old saying goes

Nice guys finish last

He’s cute

He’s neat

He’s sweet

He’s smart

He’s loving

Why is he single

He’s hot

He’s kind

He’s thoughtful

He’s faithful

He’s understanding

Why is he single

He’s a nice guy

Nobody wants a nice guy

May be a little needy

May be a little clingy

May be a little whiny

 May be a little shy

Perhaps a little sensitive

What difference does it make?

We all are, sometimes

Everybody wants a guy who can throw a punch every once in a while

Rough up the next goon that gropes his date

Makes one feel secure

Makes one feel protected

Makes one feel wanted

Makes one feel special

For causing a little trouble I suppose

For causing a little havoc I assume

Why do people want to be the center of attention?

You can pay for your own protection

Why not hire a guard for your own security

I don’t care what they say

A nice guy will always be my type of guy
