Pretty BoyA Poem by Glee
They were young They were youthful They were so in love She was pretty He was lonely She was lovely He was charmed Small, curvy waist Smooth, beautiful legs Classy hairstyle Pretty smile He had a thing for her He had his eye on her He drove her in his limousine He took her out to dates He took her out to dinner He brought her pretty roses He played her lovely music He saw true love in her eyes She saw an opportunity She told him she loved him She made him believe she felt the same way She told him she would never leave him She said she belonged only to him And all the while he believed her He would wait a while to lay with her Because he was such an innocent boy He had done no one any harm He was such a pretty boy He meant no one any harm But fortune had a better way
A family fortune placed in a brother’s hands Turned her eye the other way Pretty boy’s looks faded away For he was not so pretty anymore He was broke But the young lad was still in love She wasn’t anymore He goes to sleep, and she is the only one he thinks about He goes to eat and she is the only one he’s thinking about He can not sleep He can not eat He can not work He can not function For she is the only one he thinks about Because she was so pretty He must have her Surely he must have her now Because she was so pretty Peeks into her private quarter Can’t help but keep his eyes on her curvy waist Sneaks into her private shower room Can’t help but keep his hands off her smooth skin Poor boy can’t help himself But its just that she was so pretty He had to have her How could he help it now She notices him at the corner of her eye Wide eyed Ice cold Horrified Screams out loud for him to go away For she loved him not so anymore She felt for him not so much anymore She was in love with his elder brother He was puss Scum Good for nothing A nag of a man And not man enough for her anymore For she loved him not so much anymore She felt for him not so much anymore She was in love with his elder brother But he was such a nice boy He was a good boy Who did no one any harm And meant to do no one any wrong Slapped him fiercely across the face Hit her hard on the head Dragged her down to the ban Where nobody was listening There was no one watching Screams out loud But there was not a person in sight Cries aloud in despair But there was not a soul in sight You want a real man? Let me show you what a real man feels like She put up a fight But he was too fast for her She put up a struggle But he was too strong for her Now lying bear on the ground Clothes torn to shreds Bleeding down the drain Brothers torn apart Families turned to ruins Innocence turned to evil Comfort turned to pain Love turned to hate Happiness turned to despair I always knew it would happen I always said it might happen Nobody listened © 2009 GleeReviews
