StraightA Poem by Glee
The truth
How d'you want it? Straight up Or sugarcoated? Straight Definitely straight Always straight Never wore my clods inside out Never had desert before dinner Never told a story's ending before it begins Always crossed my t's Always dotted my i's Never did anything the other way round For I was straight Perfectly straight Straight as a die Homo! What's that? Don't say that word I'm not that kind of girl Really I ain't I'm straight OK, So may be I looked at a girl once But it happened just this once And only because she was so pretty But I'm straight Perfectly straight Always straight Straight as a die OK, so may be I touched a girl once So what? Didn't really mean anything It was just that she was so pretty How could I help it! But that didn't mean a thing Coz I'm all over that now I'm now the new me I dream, like any other girl Of a knight in shining armor That will come And rescue me from this deep, dark, dungeon Coz I'm straight Definitely straight Straight as a die OK, so may be I kissed a girl once But it was just that she was so pretty Her hair was flawless Her body was curvy Her smile was sweet But it's not like it meant anything Coz it happened just this once But really, I'm straight Of course I'm straight OK, so may be I get grossed out by men taking their shirts off May be I'm appalled at the sight of the male anatomy But it's just because I'm so horrified by it But I'm all over that I'm straight Really I am OK, so may be I fell for a girl But its just that she was so lovely So sweet So innocent And that was a while back I'm all over that now I'm straight Really I am © 2008 Glee |
