![]() Romeo Must be StoppedA Poem by Glee
Look at him Look at how he lures them How they would follow him Wondered by his presence Glance as they listen How does he charm them? For then he chairs them He will set them astray He will walk them to the gallows Carried by his courage True to his beliefs He’s a problem like a pain A thorn in the thigh An agent in the ally A glitch in the system A creature that was created But our authority is authentic Our power transcending Our goals unbreakable Our people highly stable Thinking he is smart Smartness shall be told And kindness shall be bold Who is he to cross our ways? How could he question our sympathies? For our system must resuscitate Our peace must prevail Romeo must be removed An honest creature in the name Let’s put him to the test Let’s paint a wicked picture of him Then how could they follow him Let’s make him a hypocrite Then how could they trust him He'll be watered down Then how could he go on But no one must know our ways The things we do to survive No one has to know The sacrifices we've made Our loyalty is untold For how would we survive? How dare he question our order? Our systems are undeniable For we would cease to exist But how could he uncover it How could we cower him? Then we would recover A Romeo is hardly a Rambo Just a romantic with ridiculous sentiments No one would believe him Romeo must be stopped Let’s take him out slowly © 2008 GleeReviews
