Teddy bearA Poem by Glee
Where can I start? How much can I remember? White Everything was white White as snow The nurses’ coats, The floor corridors, The cells
Everything was white White as snow Marching down the hallway A tough mile that would never end My fate awakened me The nurses cold and brutal The bed hard and stiff Our cries would vanish with the wind Echoing back to ourselves for no one would hear us The walls seemed to sway My cell seemed to shrink Time seemed to halt A moment was so easily forgotten Deeper and deeper within thee, I drew My only comfort My Teddy bear His smile is never fading His fur is never breaking His warmth is never freezing
Embraced beneath the sheets He never tires of my clinch Why does everything feel so cozy now? Why does everything seem so comfy now? Can you feel it? Can you hear it? He loves me I know he loves me He’ll never leave me My chubby teddy bear My cute teddy bear My furry teddy bear My fairy teddy bear I hold him to my bosom I sooth him beneath my breathe I stroke him underneath my palms I comfort him between the sheets He loves me I know he loves me He’ll never leave me He loves me © 2008 GleeReviews
