Have You Heard The Tale Of Her?A Poem by I-smileA song made to express my thoughts. Gonna insert the tune next time.Verse: I tried flipping the pages but to no avail. Didn't think the end was so near. Let's pretend it never was, fold the side of the page, let love be passive and unconditional. Bridge: Fallen for him she has, convinced she may be, still the little kid in a fable. Chorus: Have you heard the tale of her, blessed with weightless pages. A kid with a sweet smile, placate the angels. Have you heard the tale of her, justified is your answer, a tale with no regrets. Verse: Now listen here with heartbeats tuned, liberty to everyone is just trite. Her story only meant for one, the choice is hers. Among the cubs, it might be play for him. But what's more worse, it's all a game to him. He might have changed, I might be wrong. but it's true to say that if you're wronged, I'll be there for you anyway, along the way. Chorus: Have you heard the tale of her, blessed with weightless pages. A kid with a sweet smile, placate the angels. Have you heard the tale of her, justified is your answer, a tale with no regrets.
Verse: I've fallen for her but let's keep this sweet. A slowly departing memory. but if she's willing then just flip this page, I'll leave this book open for her to stay. © 2011 I-smile |
